Conway, Arkansas
Eva Wurster, age 81, of Conway, Arkansas and formerly of Thomson, Illinois, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at the Heritage Living Center, Conway, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Thomson. Reverend David Vidler of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mt. Carroll, Illinois will officiate. Burial will be in the Lower York Cemetery, Thomson. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2002 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Thomson.
Eva was born on Monday, May 31, 1920 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Roland and Eva (Ehredt) Schroth. She was the Valedictorian of the Thomson High School Class of 1938. She married Glen M. Wurster on August 31, 1938 in Clinton, Iowa. Glen died November 30, 1938 in Greenbriar, Arkansas.
Eva took great pride in being an active member and officer of the Grange for many years. She was an inspiration and a fount(ain) of encouragement and laughter for her friends and family all of her life. Her passing has made the world's light of humanity a little less brightly.
Survivors include two daughters, Beth Swank of Savannah, GA. and Jill Fowler of Austin, Texas; three grandchildren, Paige, Tracy and Alison; 4 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sandy (Don) Young of Lakewood, Colorado and Virginia Thompson of Commerce City, Colorado; and two brothers, Roland (Bud) Schroth of Thornton, Colorado and Donald Schroth of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Eva was preceded in death by ger husband, one sister, June Pulfrey and one brother, Harold.
