    • Arthur Willis Kibel, 82, of Canon City, was united in marriage to Letha (Sporing) Kibelon January 24, 1955.
      For many years, he worked on John Golden?s wheat ranch in Northwest Kansas. He later worked for the city of LaSalle, Colorado in Weld County before moving to Canon City in 1997. There, he worked for the Royal Gorge Bridge until retiring at the age of 75.
      Arthur loved hunting and music and especially enjoyed playing the guitar.
      He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Letha Kibel; children, Stan (Dawn) Kibel, Johnnie (Sherri) Kibel, Mark (Shelly) Kibel; brother, Louis; sister, Clara; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
      Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Daisy (King) Kibel; son, Jim Kibel; infant son, Kurtis Kibel; four sisters and six brothers.
      Visitation, 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017 followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wilson Memorial Chapel, 1449 S. 9th St., in Canon City. Graveside service, 9:00 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2017, Lakeside Cemetery, in Canon City.
